“We’ve just got to focus on the positives, learn from our mistakes and move on,” Seymour head coach Scott Branton said after the game. “We’re sitting at 5-2. A lot of teams would like to be in that position.”

Seymour (5-2, 1-2 Class 4A Region 1) has the week off this coming week before traveling to Grainger (3-4, 0-4) for a region matchup. Greeneville (7-0, 4-0 Class 4A Region 1) will host Oak Ridge (2-4) on Friday night.
