BY BRIAN HAMILTON GATLINBURG – The Lady Highlanders won their ninth consecutive game, and 12th of 13, with a 58-40 win over Seymour on Thursday night. It was the lone matchup between the two cross-county rivals this season and Gatlinburg-Pittman was able to avenge a 41-36 loss in the teams’ last matchup in February 2025. BY BRIAN HAMILTON GATLINBURG – Gatlinburg-Pittman picked up their 12th win in the last 13 games with a 73-54 drubbing of Seymour on Thursday night, as Jayden Barton went off for 40 points, 10 assists, seven rebounds, along with three steals and three blocks. The Lady Lions won the first set 25-20, then lost the second set 25-22, and took the third set 25-19 to win the first game of the tri-match.
