After 4 Weeks Two Unbeatens Remain in Top 10

BY DANIEL SPARKMAN After a week of showcasing a number of teams in our area playing one another, we are left with just two teams remaining undefeated. The big game of the week was Alcoa versus Maryville. Alcoa did what they hadn’t since 2018 and that is beat Maryville. Our lone other unbeaten is Sevier County who saw a 19-0 victory at Pigeon Forge on Friday night. Dropping from the Top 10 this week was South-Doyle, Seymour and Grainger. Top 10 After Three Weeks of Play

BY DANIEL SPARKMAN After three weeks, our number of unbeatens has dropped to five. This week we saw The King’s Academy and Morristown East both fall from the ranking following losses. Seymour and Grainger rejoin the Top 10 after improving to 2-1 on the season. Lakeway Christian Academy has made it to Week 4 unbeaten and has sprung out to an incredible start for the three-year old program. Week 2 Top 10

A serious of losses changes the rest of the pack, we see Carter, Pigeon Forge and Grainger fall from the Top 10 and The King’s Academy rejoin with newcomers South-Doyle and Morristown East. Top 10 Following Week 1

BY DANIEL SPARKMAN Several teams start the season in the hole with a loss in Week 1. Out of our Preseason Top 10 we lose The King’s Academy and Seymour and welcome Lakeway Christian and Grainger. Lakeway Christian is looking for a strong start in their 3rd season on the field and trying to improve on a 3-4 record from a year ago. The Lions made big strides in 2021, finishing 4-7 (thanks to a pair of COVID-19 wins) and the school’s first ever playoff berth before losing to Nashville Christian 41-7.
