After 4 Weeks Two Unbeatens Remain in Top 10

BY DANIEL SPARKMAN After a week of showcasing a number of teams in our area playing one another, we are left with just two teams remaining undefeated. The big game of the week was Alcoa versus Maryville. Alcoa did what they hadn’t since 2018 and that is beat Maryville. Our lone other unbeaten is Sevier County who saw a 19-0 victory at Pigeon Forge on Friday night. Dropping from the Top 10 this week was South-Doyle, Seymour and Grainger. Seymour defeats Northview Academy to earn first region and district title since 2004

BY BRIAN HAMILTON KNOXVILLE – After the district championship game a week ago, Seymour head coach Greg Hernandez was asked if he would like to face Northview Academy a fourth time, a team that played the Lady Eagles tough in all three contests.
