PIGEON FORGE – Tigers head coach Scott Meadows picked up his 150th win at Pigeon Forge with a 35-6 win over Scott.

“Our guys played hard tonight and played with a lot of emotion,” Meadows said. “We started off really well. The biggest thing is we held onto the ball.”

A blocked punt, which was picked up and taken to the end zone by Noah Dyer, gave Pigeon Forge a 7-0 lead after one quarter of play.

The Tigers would take a 28-0 lead to the locker room at halftime and a 35-0 lead after three quarters. Scott would score its lone touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Tyson McFall led Pigeon Forge with 132 yards and two touchdowns on 4-of-8 passing with his two scores coming on a 73-yard touchdown to Adam Hood and another to Judson Statham.

Ayden Little led the Tigers in rushing with 57 yards on just two carries, while Aiden Howard finished with 54 yards. Brady Maples and Bryce Effler both scored rushing touchdowns on the night.

Pigeon Forge (3-3, 1-1 Class 3A Region) will be back in region play this week, as the Tigers host Northview (2-4, 0-2) in a game which is crucial for playoff positioning. Scott dropped to 1-3, with its only win coming due to a forfeit by Austin-East. The Highlanders will host Gibbs (2-3) on Friday night.
