The Lady Hornets were swept in three sets, as the defending Region 2 champion Lady Mavericks looked strong and poised to make a return to the state championships in Murfreesboro next week. The Hornets however scored a in the first and fourth quarters to pull out the 13-7 win over the Trojans. Morristown West Dominates David Crockett in 31-9 Victory
BY: CHRISTOPHER MALONEY Correspondent Morristown West Trojans win 31-9 over the David Crockett Pioneers to improve to 3-0 prior to next week’s visit by Greeneville. The loss dropped the Pioneers to 2-1 on the season. Prior to tonight’s game the Trojans honored teacher Brian Marcum, who was killed in a motorcycle accident on August 21st.
